Seeking: Seasonal Production Manager, Fall 2024 Production
Timeline: July 9-October 9, Part Time
Fee: $6,000
Reports to: Artistic Director Ryan Purcell

Job Description:
The Feast is seeking a show-specific production manager for our fall 2024 production. The production manager will oversee all aspects of production including managing budgets, schedules, personnel, and resources to ensure the successful execution of the production. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, a problem-solving mindset and a thorough understanding of the technical and creative process of theatre.

Key Skills:

  1. Production Planning and Coordination:
    • Collaborate with the Artistic Director, designers, and technical staff to develop production schedule and timeline;
    • Coordinate and oversee all production meetings, ensuring clear
      communication and alignment across all departments.
    • Manage timely and efficient load-in, set-up, and strike of production.
    • Create and manage production calendars, including rehearsal schedules, tech rehearsals, and performance dates.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during rehearsals and performances.
  2. Team Management:
    • Supervise, and support production staff, including stage managers,
    • technical directors, designers, and crew members.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
    • Ensure all team members understand their roles, responsibilities, and deadlines.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between production staff, creative, teams, and Seattle University and venue stakeholders.
    • Communicate schedule changes and updates to all relevant parties promptly.
  3. Budget and Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage production budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring productions stay within financial constraints.
    • Provide accurate reporting at the end of process for reconciliation;
    • Oversee the procurement and maintenance of production materials, equipment, and supplies.
